Maker Label was created to inspire people and form a constant reminder that humans have the innate ability to INNOVATE, GENERATE & CREATE.

The power to create something out of nothing.

Maker represents a movement of individuals awakened to the fact of their innate strength and power. The sole ability to transform, to project their unique abilities and talents into the world.

THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR 

Sarai Tearani is the Owner and Creative Director of Maker Label.  

Maker Label encapsulated Sarai's beliefs about humanity and embodies a movement around empowerment and creativity. 

Sarai is a creative force, with a long career in the creative industries including Music Producing, Performance and Dance. Sarai is also committed to social welfare projects and currently works with disadvantaged and homeless youth. Maker Label combines Sarai's passions for creativity and empowering the people to tap into their God given potential, harness it and succeed.

The streetwear aesthetic of Maker Label is inspired by Sarai's experience in music and movement through dance; creating a strong and powerful vibration to the collection and her vision for Maker.

We at Maker Label are an Australian Small Business. We are local people, serving our local and wider community through injecting culture and our vibe into the scene. We pride ourselves on our ethical and sustainable practices. Ethical and sustainability practices have been paramount towards the development of our collections and creating our manufacturing partnerships.

- Designed in Australia.

- Manufactured in Kerobokan Bali & Jiangsu Province China.

- 100% Organic Cotton Sourced from Australia.

- High quality manufacturing techniques used for a long lasting garment lifecycle. including bound seams, double needle hem finishes, medium weight 140 gsm weight premium cotton.

-All garments pre Eco washed to reduce shrinkage.  

- Our Manufacturer uses Cold Pad Batch Dyeing (CPB) Technology, which uses 80% less water than the conventional vat dyeing method. All the dyes used in our manufacturing are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified, which is the highest level of certification available and signifies the highest quality of sustainable practice in the textile industry with the dyes free from all toxic and harmful chemicals. 

- Our screen printing process is done with Japanese water-based inks which are also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified and 100% free of PVC, dangerous phthalates, formaldahyde , heavy metals, AZO compounds and non-ylphenol xenoestrogens.
